    Six live hands-on sessions addressing the diagnosis and treatment for diseases and complications of the arteries and veins. Also features simulation models, foam sclerotherapy techniques and techniques for venous reflux and perforator testing, physiologic maneuvers and pneumatic compression for PAD.
  • Cases Over Cocktails
    Live cases presented and discussed over snacks and cocktails.

This live activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of the University of Minnesota and the Society for Vascular Medicine. The University of Minnesota is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians:
The University of Minnesota designates this live activity for a maximum of 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician Assistants:
AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. Physician assistants may receive a maximum of 20.5 Hours of Category 1 credit for completing this program.

Nurses:
The University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Office of Practice, Partnerships and Professional Development, is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This activity provides up to 20.5 contact hours for nurses.

Vascular Technologists, Sonographers:
AMA PRA Category I Credit Hours may be used to fulfill the continuing education requirements for the RVT credential of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and the RVS credential of Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and toward the continuing education requirements of the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission - Vascular Testing Division (formerly ICAVL) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

Other Health Care Professionals:
Other Healthcare Professionals who participate in this CME activity may submit their Statements of Attendance to their appropriate accrediting organizations or state boards for consideration of credit. The participant is responsible for determining whether this activity meets the requirements for acceptable continuing education.
