For our next journal club iteration, we are excited to start the new year off with a recent publication in Circulation – STORM-PE, the first randomized control trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of using mechanical thrombectomy with anticoagulation compared to anticoagulation alone.

We welcome Dr. Aravind Dilli Babu from Cleveland Clinic to review the study, and we are very excited to have Dr. Lookstein, Mount Sinai Medical Center, join the journal club to offer additional insights about the study and discuss how these findings could impact management of pulmonary emboli moving forward.
